Many music students in Mt. Horeb study privately during the summer and the school year. Private lessons pair students with a professional musician to help students learn to perform at a much higher level. Scholarships are available for these lessons as well!

Hi!
If you would like to play for fun this summer, here is info from Missy Paust (flute in MH band) and Greg Norris (trpt in MH band), we conduct the Barneveld Area Community Band, and would like to invite you to play with us!
We meet Wednesday evenings (and some Thursdays to pick up the people that have other Wednesday commitments) at 7 pm in the Barneveld HS band room. We’re pretty casual… it’s a show up when you can type group. We usually have 3-4 concerts a summer- a couple combined with area fund raisers, and OF COURSE the MH pie auction! Concerts are USUALLY Wednesday nights or Sunday afternoon or evening. We don’t have set dates yet.
If you would like to join us at any point this summer, please reply (not reply all) to Missy and I’ll have a folder ready for you. In your email, tell me your name, instrument and maybe what part you’d prefer to play. Our second rehearsal is this Thursday,May 16th (we thought it would be polite to wait until your concert was over before we invited you!)
