HS Co-Curriculars

Any music student at MHHS is encouraged to be part of the fall musical. Auditions are held each August and rehearsals begin in September. The musical is performed the second weekend in November. Click on "Musical" to be taken to our MHHS Musical webpage. This year's musical is "Bye Bye Birdie"

Chamber Singers is a choir for all students 9th-12th grade that fit within an Soprano or Alto voicing. The group meets on Wednesday Nights from 6:45-7:30pm. This group focuses specifically on music written for SSA and SSAA voicing. This group does perform outside of the school day as well.

Troubadours is a group for any 9th-12th grade tenor or bass. This group focuses on performing music written for Tenor/Bass choir. This group meets on Monday nights from 7:45-8:30pm. This group does perform outside of the school day.

Madrigal is a group open to any 10th-12th grade singer. This ensemble focuses on small ensemble singing around music from madrigal style and renaissance time period. Madrigal meets Friday mornings from 7:00-7:30am. Entrance into this group is by audition.

Vocal Jazz is a group open to any 10th-12th grade singer. This ensemble focuses on vocal jazz and modern music with extended chord voicings. Vocal Jazz meets Friday mornings from 7:30-8:00am. Entrance into this group is by audition.
