Maur Hill - Mount Academy is an ACT, SAT and TOEFL testing center, where tests are administered in our own classrooms.
A student's performance on standardized tests is an important part of your school record that will be reviewed by universities from which you apply. Visit the ACT/SAT/TOEFL page for testing dates, testing center number, and school ID that you need to register for a test. If you have any questions, contact Ms. McGinnis (wmcginnis@mh-ma.com).
ACT and SAT
The ACT is accepted by all colleges in the U.S.; however, there may be benefit from also taking the SAT. Taking these tests by the beginning of your Junior year is expected, however taking them during the sophomore year is highly encouraged.
TOEFL
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is required of all non-native speakers of English. Since 2005-06 the TOEFL has been given in the United States as an internet-based test. See the guidance office for information on how to schedule a test date.
