James Madison

Dolley madison- Dolley madison often used her social skills, and personal popularity to help her husband James Madison win over political opponents. Dolley is most remembered for saving the white house. In war of 1812 british troops burned the White house, the Capital, and even the Library of Congress. Dolley was inside of the White house as it was burning and did her best to grab and save important pictures, documents, and more.

James Madison was the 4th president of the united states. Madison was also known as the "Father of the Constitution". He helped write the Federalist papers with Alexander Hamilton and John Jay. James Madison was married to Dolley Payne.
