Course Description

This course is designed to familiarize you with the "life sciences". You will be introduced to science areas such as scientific inquiry and application, cells and cell processes, heredity, evolution and diversity and interdependence of life as they relate to the natural world. Various techniques will be used in the classroom including, but not limited to, lecture, discussion, writing, cooperative work, appropriate labs and projects.
