The Choral Boosters manage a large portion of the finances for the choirs. In order to pay for robes, costumes, competitions, buses, music rights, choreographers, risers, etc, we fund-raise and also ask parents to pay fees. The fees for MHS Symphonic, Concert & Advanced Treble are $40.
Show Choir fees (MHS and BMS) information can be obtained by contacting any member of the Executive Committee. All checks should be made payable to Marysville Choral Boosters.
To learn more about fundraising projects that earn money for our boosters, please click on the Fundraisers page . Each singer/dancer and combo/crew in Swingers Unlimited and Mini Swingers is asked to raise $150 minimum in combined fundraising efforts for the year. This total is based on the dollars actually sold, not our profits.
All payments can be mailed to Marysville Choral Boosters , PO Box 554, Marysville Ohio 43040 or dropped in the White Mailbox on the wall of the choir office at MHS or the Black Mailbox in the choir room at BMS.
Parent volunteers assist the Directors as chaperones at every competition. The chaperones help with communications, logistics, mending and other minor issues as they arise. We typically take four chaperones to each competition. All chaperones must be approved by the MEVSD Board of Education. Please complete the Screenpointe form (day trips) and the BCI form (overnight trips) if you are interested in chaperoning and have not already been approved by the BOE. If you are in a hardship situation and wish to seek financial assistance from the boosters, please communicate with the Executive Committee using our Financial Aid Form (click here to view the Financial Aid form). The aid request can be in the form of a monetary value (like a grant) or a request for extra time to meet a payment deadline. It is our hope that families in this difficult situation will communicate with the officers and will take full advantage of our fundraising programs. Once the form is received, the Executive Committee will discuss the request and respond asap to the parents in need.
Fees can be paid online here using Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. There will be a 3.5% fee for payments made with debit or credit card to cover processing fees. We also accept Venmo @marysvillechoralboosters. Please include your student's name and add a $10 processing fee to your Venmo payment.
For the 2023-2024 season, Swingers Unlimited fees will be:
$1050 - Singer-Dancer, includes optional $50 meal fee
$350 - Combo
$300 - Stage Crew
The $1050 Singer-Dancer total does not include the separate PAY-TO-PLAY (“PTP”) fee that is owed to the school prior to the first competition.
Combo and Stage Crew members are not required to pay PTP fees.
