Students are required to have a graphing calculator for the AP Exam, and thus are required to have one for this class. The TI-84 Plus is the recommended model, as the course will be taught using this.

This course covers roughly the equivalent of a collegiate Calculus I course (Derivatives, Optimization, Integrals, Volumes). In addition to learning this material, a paramount objective is preparing students for the Advanced Placement Exam in May. As such, the course moves at a brisk pace so that we may conclude the curriculum in mid/late April, hopefully leaving a week or two to review for the AP Exam.
Grades are calculated according to the following weights:
Homework - 10%
Quiz/Test/Group Work/Everything Else - 90%
