Metuchen High School Tree Inventory
Using information gathered from hands-on surveying, the Tree Ambassadors are in the process of a virtual map of the trees on the Metuchen High School campus.
Metuchen Public Library Tree Planting
Through the Shade Tree Commission, we engaged in hands-on work at the Metuchen Public Library, planting new trees at this community hub.

School Planting Plan
After gaining funds through the Trees for Schools grant, we created a tree planting plan for the four schools in our district. This plan gave information regarding what trees should be planted, and where exactly the planting should be.

Community Outreach
Through activites such as hosting our own booth at the Green Fair and giving a presentation to homeowners at the Metuchen Public Library, the Tree Ambassadors have worked, and continue to work to spread awareness about the benfits of trees.
Metuchen Tree Ambassadors have given in-class and hands on lessons at Campbell Elementary School, Edgar Middle School and Metuchen High School.
