Be sure to check first thing on Saturday morning to see if anything has changed in your schedule. Things change as people cancel or we see different areas have new needs. This spreadsheet will be viewable at the Registration Table, but don't wait until you get there. 

Be sure to check on Sat morning for any changes. I tried to note all changes by highlighting names in green that had changes, but I could have missed some!

You are responsible for knowing your schedule and for understanding your job duties. Please read the introductory information on each page that pertains to you along with the job descriptions, and activity/game descriptions. All of this is on the website.

Ambassador Duties | General Guidelines

Each Ambassador has a specific schedule for the day, but not every minute is scheduled. However, you are there to work. If you have unscheduled time, you may choose one of the following tasks:

• Stop in the exhibit hall and look for the CS-EH bosses Stacey and Emilirose. Ask them if you can help with something. 

• Stop at the registration desk and ask if there is anything you can help with

• Visit the Ambassador Lounge and pick up a few bottles of water and walk through the EH offering water to working Ambassadors. Some people have no down time and might appreciate an offering of water. 

• Walk through the EH and pick up trash, dropped items, tidy messy spaces; look for ways to be helpful

• Walk the halls and pick up trash, help direct students, and find ways to be helpful

• Spend some time in the Ambassador Lounge and network with your fellow Ambassadors

• Find Olivia (she’s wandering this year) and ask her how you can be of service

• Take photos of teens, activities, sessions, the campus, and if you use Instagram, post them, tagging @teenlitcon and using the hashtags #teenlitcon and #teenlitcon23. If you have some really special photos, email them to Olivia (olivia@metronet.lib.mn.us) for posting to the Teen Lit Con Instagram account. Include your handle or name if you would like the photo credit

Do be on time for each of your shifts. The schedule is very precise and the person waiting for you to arrive has someplace else they are supposed to be. 

The event ends at 3pm, but All Day and afternoon workers are expected to stay until all of the cleaning is complete. Even if your area is cleaned and packed early, remember that there are plenty more things to do in the cleanup process. Please be helpful and proactive. We expect you will be out by 4pm.
