About Me

Welcome to our class! I've been teaching for 18 years and have taught Pre K, Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. I've also spent 14 summers at Hideaway, a local day camp. There I enjoyed days spent in the woods as both a counselor and a Low Ropes Specialist. This will be my second year teaching at Skyview, and I'm so excited to have you on our team!

I graduated from Shippensburg University with bachelor's degrees in Communications and Spanish, and later obtained my master's degree in Education from Gwynedd-Mercy College. I hold certifications in Elementary Education and Middle Level English, and have taken additional coursework in Special Education and STEM Education. I recently completed a STEM Endorsement program at Wilkes University with several other Skyview teachers.

I live in Boyertown with my husband and our children. Ben is in 7th grade, and Maddie will turn 2 in February. Our crazy puppy Lucy rounds out the crew. I enjoy traveling, reading, live music, cooking and baking, and any sort of physical activity.
