About Mrs. Tornetta

My family!

My name is Dana Tornetta and I teach Second Grade at Eagleville Elementary. I have been teaching for 18 years in elementary education. I taught in a private school (Kindergarten for 4 years and First Grade for 6 years), substitute taught in public schools for six years including all of Methacton Elementary Schools. taught Kindergarten for two years, and currently am in my fourth year at Eagleville Elementary teaching Second Grade.

I am married to my husband, Jim. We have been together since we met in high school. We have two beautiful girls, Brianna (11 years old) and Marlena (3 years old). I love spending time with my family. We enjoy going to the playground, movie theater, going to the beach, and just hanging out with our large, Italian extended families. I also enjoy scrap booking, shopping, taking photos of my daughters, and home decorating.

Teaching young children is my passion. I love being able to mold their impressionable minds at a young age and being a part of their foundation in education. We form a special bond by sharing their first experiences of their elementary school career with me. I feel confident that I can foster your child's love for learning and thirst for knowledge while cultivating his/her social and emotional skills during our year together. My door is always open if you have any questions or concerns about your child's experience in school! My email is dtornetta@methacton.org or you can call me at 610-489-5000.
