What Do I Need for Second Grade?

Reminders for Students:


Please bring these items with you to school each day:


-A backpack

-A packed lunch - or money to purchase lunch - lunch is $2.85 - please click on this link for more information about setting up a student cafeteria account:    Student Cafeteria Accounts 

-OPTIONAL - a small, healthy, finger-food snack to be eaten in the morning (please do not send in any peanut products or candy for your child's snack)

-A refillable water bottle labeled with your name

-Your green second grade folder from Mrs. Johnson (she will let you know what days you need to bring in your homework)

-Fully charged Chromebook and Chromebook charger - **Please charge your Chromebook every night.**


Breakfast is available at school every morning.  Breakfast is free for all students.


Classroom Supply Requests:


-Art smock – to be kept at school – an old adult t-shirt is suggested (please note that we will need art smocks beginning September 8)

-A beach towel or other large towel that can be kept at school and used outside

-4 pack container of 75 count Clorox wipes

-1 set of headphones labeled with your name (no earbuds, please) 

-6 black Expo dry erase markers

-12 sharpened #2 pencils


(All other school supplies will be provided.)


Reminders for Families:


*The school day begins at 8:55 a.m.  Children who arrive after 9:05 a.m. are marked as tardy.  Children who arrive after 9:05 a.m. must also be escorted to the office by an adult with a driver's license before they can report to our classroom.  Thanks for your understanding!

*If your child will be going home on a regular basis (daily or weekly) through Car Line/Car Loop, you will need to complete a Car Loop Sign-Up Form.  Please click on this link to complete the form:  2023-2024 Car Loop Sign-Up Form

1) Please review and confirm/update your child's Emergency Contact information in Power School.  You can access this information by selecting Navigation Menu > Forms> General > Emergency Contacts within Power School.


2) Please review and complete/update these forms - you can access these forms in PowerSchool by selecting Navigation Menu > Forms > General Forms:
