Our Philosophy

Metcalfe County Cheerleading is a student athletic program. Being a student will always come before Cheerleading. Additionally, the purpose of the Metcalfe County High School Cheer program is to promote and uphold school spirit, to build character and encourage good sportsmanship. 

Cheerleaders play an important role in displaying and encouraging spirit and pride for their school in and OUTSIDE of the building. Cheerleaders are a visual representation of their school. The intent of this Philosophy is to ensure Metcalfe County High School has an upstanding cheer team and that the athletes have an enriching experience that provides values, benefits, and experiences for each participant not only for their tenure but for their lifetime.
