Technology Tip #8 : Share Only a Portion of Your Screen in Zoom

Share just part of your screen in Zoom with the Advanced tab on the Share Screen window.

Select Share Screen and choose the ADVANCED button. Select PORTION OF SCREEN and click SHARE.

Click and drag to adjust the GREEN OUTLINE highlighting what portion of your screen is shared.

HAVING TROUBLE FINDING THE PORTION OF SCREEN BUTTON?

Navigate to zoom.us and select SETTINGS on the left side menu.

Select IN MEETING (BASIC) and scroll down to DISABLE DESKTOP/SCREEN SHARE FOR USERS.

This must be turned off in order for the function to be available.
