Research Project Overview

The Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems (RACS) special interest group focuses on the development of intelligent, autonomous, and interconnected systems that seamlessly integrate computational intelligence with physical processes. Our research spans key areas such as advanced robotics, real-time embedded systems, autonomous systems, human-robot interaction, the Internet of Things (IoT) and STEM Education. We explore cutting-edge technologies in robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, sensor fusion, and edge computing to enhance the autonomy, adaptability, and resilience of cyber-physical systems. By addressing challenges in automation, smart manufacturing, healthcare, and intelligent transportation, RACS aims to drive innovation in next-generation robotics and digital-physical system integration.
