More Pick-Up Sites Added! Choose from 20 Locations.
Mesquite ISD is providing FREE curbside meals to all Mesquite ISD students while schools are closed. Meal kits may be picked up between 10 a.m. and noon on Wednesdays ONLY for any student 18 years old or younger. Each meal kit contains 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches. Items are frozen, and reheating instructions are included in the kit.
Hanby families are encouraged to visit a pick-up site in your high school feeder pattern. Meals will be available via drive-up and walk-up service at the following locations:

Tisinger Elementary School
Those in vehicles should remain in their vehicle to limit interaction with the MISD staff and others. Mesquite ISD has conducted a health screening of all those preparing and serving meals.

Regarding Truancy Court Hearings
”Due to the COVID-19 outbreak no truancy court hearings will be taking place at this time. All dockets will be rescheduled.
Regarding Credit Recovery/Recoup
“Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Texas Education Agency has waived adherence the 90% attendance rule for the 2019-2020 school year. Students must still maintain a passing average in order to receive credit for a course, but there will be no requirement to recoup any missed time beyond the 90%.”
