Organized a one day joint work shop of PULISAA(Pune University Library Science Alumni Association) and IMCC, on Saturday October 8, 2005 AT I.M.C.C. Inaugurated by Dr S G Mahajan, President PULISAA. Theme of the workshop: the Impact use of I.T. in Libraries. The workshop was attended by 54 participants.
Organized PLNF Meet, on 26th Dec 2004. Presented a speech on the topic computerization of Library functions and services at IMCC 27 participants attended the lecture.

Leading role in the foundation, Designing, Planning, Implementation and Coordination of MES IMCC’s autonomous programs as SET NET Training Program for LIS professionals in all over the Maharashtra state & PGDLIMAN
Designed and Implemented successfully the SET NET Training Workshop for the LIS professionals. Its a result oriented and the most Successful and popular workshop on SET NET (Library & Information Science) in the Maharashtra state conducted for the 20 Sundays (6 months ; Full Time from 10.00am to 4.30pm ). Currently running its 7th batch. The candidates registering not only from Pune but also from all over Maharashtra such as Mumbai, Ambejogai, Aurangabad, Shengaon, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Mangaon , Solapur and various places near Pune as Manchar, Baramati, Khed . As on date a total 240 candidates registaered for the workshop, out of which total 25 candidates have qualified the SET/NEt examinations and working currently at the prestigious Institutions as a Librarian/ AL .
Designed and Implemented a One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Library Management, Automation & Networking (PGDLIMAN) programme of MES. It is an autonomous programme of MES’s IMCC. It aims at developing the professional competencies of the library and information professionals in an automated and digital library networked environment.
The program focuses on in-depth practical sessions for building the technological skills of the students supported by required sessions on the theory, in order to develop them as an independent library manager who will manage the library in the new era successfully which includes the focused courses like Library Automation, Digital Libraries: Foundation, Digital Libraries: Achieving and Preservation, Web Designing, Networking and Internet Technology, Resources on Internet, Programming with C along with the Project.
