Be ready to hear about some seeds, because on February 7th, the local 5th Graders at Manzanita Elementary planted seeds in bags to wait and watch them grow! They have been learning about photosynthesis throughout the week, And On February 14th, the 5th grade planted their seeds with their groups into potting soil. When their seeds finally grow, Mrs. Jones will be permanently planting them in the planter beds by the middle school classrooms, so make sure to thank the 5th grade for helping beautify the school!

6th grade ELA is a great class to learn writing with Mrs. Jones.
As of now, the 6th graders are writing about a story called “Stray.”
In this class, you can learn about prepositions, action verbs, Nouns, and writing about Character traits.
Writing about books can teach you to look for hidden meanings, called universal truths.
