Dear Parents and Caring Adults,
I am excited to work with your child during this very special school year. I know that distance learning can feel intimidating, but we can do it! I am not only here for your child but also for you. Please reach out to me whenever you have questions, concerns, or anything else! Parent-teacher communication is very important to me.
There will be times when it may feel difficult to motivate or help your child through their distance learning activities. I've built "Pop-in" times to the daily schedule to help! If your child doesn't join the "Pop-in" on their own when they need it, let me know and I'll reach out to them. Together, we can make great things happen!

During the first week of January, we will be having trimester 1 parent-teacher-student conferences. Sign ups will be made through SignUpGenius. I am really looking forward to meeting with you!

Optional Supplies
Due to the demand for Chromebook use and Google Meet sessions during distance learning, a computer mouse and headphones would make your child's experience more convenient. The headphones help reduce background noise and the mouse makes navigating online assignments easier.
Wide Open School is a site powered by Common Sense, a resource center we use to teach digital citizenship. Their priority is to help families and teachers work together to keep kids engaged and learning. That's why they've updated all the free activities on Wide Open School and added a family and teacher center with all-new resources to make learning from home more effective. Click on the icon to the left to access the "Back to School Guide for Families".
