Classroom Policies

Homework:

It is your child's responsibility to complete homework when it is assigned.

Daily homework assignments can be found on under the "Classwork" page in the 2021-2022 Google Classroom.

If a student fails to complete a homework assignment, they will fill out a Homework Reminder. Students will have the reminder signed by a parent and returned, along with the missing assignment, the next day. This reminder can be found in your child's take home folder.

Take Home Folder:

Please maintain your child's folder weekly. This will help your child stay organized and make sure important papers are brought home and back to school.

Absences:

School policy requires parents to call in absences and to send a note to the nurse. Doctor’s notes are required for absences of 3 or more days.

Homework will be sent home, as per your designated preference on the Absence Form, either with a homework buddy or placed in the Main Office for pick-up. Students have 1 day for each day absent to complete missed work.

Snack:

Please note that we are a peanut-free classroom. It would be greatly appreciated if you would be mindful of that when you are packing your child's snack. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
