Volunteers

Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends,

If you have a little extra time and a desire to volunteer at the Milford Brook Library, your help would be greatly appreciated. Mrs. Reed, the media specialist is looking for parents to assist her during the day. Thank you in advance for being generous with your time. This isn't a year-long commitment. Anytime you have available and would like to stop in school to help would be appreciated. I ask that you notify me with a day's notice.

The same rules apply to attending events in school. You must notify the office through their portals etc that you would be in school that day. I will also be notifying them of who to expect. I try to only have one volunteer at a time.

Volunteers would help with:

• Returning books to their shelves

• Assisting students with checking in and out of books

• Handle the media center’s book inventory

• Prep materials for students’ projects (cutting, tracing etc.)
