Pumpkin Characters

It’s October and that means pumpkins are everywhere! Let’s take this fun theme and bring it to the library for some reading fun!

Just pick a book, purchase a small sized fake or real pumpkin (that you can carry yourself), and decorate it like your favorite book character. You can decorate it, paint, glue things to it and add a lot of fun details. Please do not carve the pumpkin, since they will be on display in the library for 2 weeks (we do not want them rotting in the library). Fake pumpkins can be displayed all year long. And it can be donated to the library to be displayed all year round.

This project is voluntary, but it can be a lot of family fun. If you would like to participate, please return the form, along with your pumpkin character, to the library after Monday, Oct 17th .

All students will get a chance to vote on their favorite pumpkin during their library class. Prizes for first, second, and third place winners will be presented to the winners.
