MEMS Addition Groundbreaking Event Photos

Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School

Installation of new curbs, sidewalks, and paving of the large parking lot are complete
Phase I roofing work is complete; Phase II roofing upgrades will begin in summer 2026
Updates to the gym HVAC system are complete
Restroom ADA accessibility upgrades are complete
Auditorium site assessment has been completed; work is scheduled to begin in June
MEMS Addition:
- Steel structure and metal decking installation are complete
- Second floor concrete slab placement is complete
- Masonry block installation at stairwells elevator shaft and interior walls is complete
- Temporary lighting has been installed
- Electrical panel back boxes and in-wall conduit installation is underway
- Fire alarm sprinkler system piping installation for the addition is underway
- Installation of HVAC rooftop equipment curbs is complete, installation of first floor HVAC ductwork and equipment is complete
- Parapet (protective barrier wall above the roof) and exterior wall framing and wood blocking is complete
- Roofing system installation will begin soon

New classroom HVAC units have been installed
Rooftop HVAC support rails and HVAC units have been installed
