Every school year since 1986 one student's work of art has been selected from each school in our district. The work of art is framed and the artist is honored by the Board of Education in a special presentation. During the school year, this collection of art rotates to all of the schools within the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District. Each work of art is then returned to the "home" school to be exhibited permanently.
Students at MEMS interested in having a work of art selected for consideration must simply create the best possible work they can that demonstrates an understanding of the topics, creativity in how they expand on those requirements, and skill with artistic mediums.
