307 Robotics courses develop and expand students’ skills and knowledge so that they candesign and develop robotic devices. Topics covered in the course may include mechanics, electrical and motor controls, pneumatics, computer basics, and programmable logic controllers.

This class uses Vex Robotics to teach students about the fundamentals of building and programming robots to complete tasks. Students will also have access to Tello drones, which they can use to take pictures and record video. Students will maintain an Engineering Notebook where they will record information about their robots, ideas for improvement, design and iteration information, and more.
