About Applied Geometry
Applied Geometry is designed to satisfy state graduation requirements as well as prepare students for future mathematical work in school and the real world. Beginning algebra is a prerequisite for this class and will be used extensively. Students in Applied Geometry will explore the ideas of logic, congruence, symmetry and transformations among other things.
Materials: Students will need their textbook, Chromebook, and calculator each day in class. A scientific calculator is needed for later units. My suggestion is the TI-30XIIS.
