ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
DECA is going to be running a food drive from November 1 until the 25th. We will be collecting non-perishable food items (like canned goods) to donate to the hungry! We would really appreciate it if you could spread the word and get involved by gathering some canned goods to donate. Your contribution is appreciated!

DECA members had a great time decorating pumpkins for the annual DECA Pumpkin Event. We also gave our treats to our Little Panthers Nursery School and our Special Education Department.

DECA participated in the Annual Read for the Record event this year, which will take place on October 22. The purpose of this event is to spread awareness of the importance of literacy among both adults and children throughout the United States. To do this, Jumpstart picks a book that everyone within the nation (regardless of age) can read at the same time. This year 15 members went to Hanover School to read to several classrooms.
