How do I equip my student with an Individualized Learning Accommodation Plan?
All students at Mercy will received the same quality instruction and teacher led "best practice" education available. For those students seeking additional support through an Individualized Learning Accommodation plan, some additional pieces of information are required.
In order to be considered for an Individualized Plan, students must have:
A Comprehensive Psycho-educational or Psychological Evaluation that is current and up to date (Evaluation must be no older than 3 years)
*Note evaluation must include a cognitive and academic achievement measures.
A diagnosed Learning Difference, which may include (but is not limited to) a Specific Learning Disability in Reading, Writing, or Mathematics, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, or Autism.
Input on academic performance from student, family, and teachers who know the student well.
There are many psychological providers in the Louisville Area who can conduct an evaluation for your student. Click here to find a list of potential providers.
