Included in our mission is the plan to strengthen our students social and emotional learning. We provide both group and individualized sessions aimed to grow skills that support child development. With the help of teachers, staff, and parents, we can identify students who need extra support and design tailored plans to ensure student success.
A Lunch Bunch is a group of 4-5 students who meet once a week during lunchtime to build skills in specialized areas. Our groups focus on key areas including friendship and social skills, emotional regulation, responsible decision-making, and self-confidence.
Students are typically recommended by teachers, staff, or parents who feel the student would benefit from extra support in one of these areas. It is a wonderful way for students to connect with peers, build confidence, and thrive both in and out of the classroom!
Beyond our group activities, our SEL program provides individual 1:1 sessions for students who need more personalized attention. These sessions are perfect for students focusing on attendance goals, academic success, and self-regulation techniques. It also gives students a reliable, safe space to connect openly with a trusted adult during the school day.

We work with all other students! Exceptions can be made in specific circumstances, but as a general rule we follow these guidelines so every student can get the support they need.
