The state of Ohio has developed and mandated a series of assessments based on the standards for physical education. The assessments consist of age - appropriate student work as well as teacher observation of student performance. 5th grade students will also take part in a criterion-referenced fitness test. Most of the assessments will be conducted during class, but there may be instances where students are given a take-home assignment. Please encourage your child to complete the assignments and turn them in as directed.
Each student’s assessment data will be reported at the end of 2nd and 5th grade.
