Asticus is a murder mystery detective game. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account Information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name (or alias) and email address solely to create and authenticate your account.
Game Data
We store your game progress, interview history, and notes on our servers so you can resume games across sessions.
No Tracking or Analytics
We do not collect device identifiers, location data, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

OpenAI — Your interview questions are sent to OpenAI's API to generate suspect responses. These are processed per OpenAI's API data usage policy, which states that API inputs are not used to train their models.
Apple Sign In / Google Sign In — Used solely for authentication. We only receive the name and email you authorize.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Our servers and data storage run on AWS infrastructure.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on encrypted AWS servers. We retain your game data for as long as your account is active. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account information and game data within 30 days.
Asticus is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
