This year at North, the students learned about stop-motion animation, which is animation that is captured one frame at time, with physical objects that are moved between frames. All grades made valentines using the technique in language arts class.
8th grade social studies took it a step further and completed a research project on industrial era transportation. They took that information to create a stop-motion short film! See some examples here.
