This program is available for all Menifee Union School District students, at no cost, who are currently in TK-7th grade.

Quail Valley Elementary is located at:

This host will be specializing in STEAM based learning projects. All students are welcome; but staff from Ridgemoor, Evans Ranch, and Quail Valley will be on site to support for Summer!
TK/K will work on a variety of hands-on engaging learning activities lead by our amazing Early Learning Facilitators. 🚂
Grades 1-3 will be entrenched in learning about wildlife habitats and designing habitats/zoos for animals. 🐊
Grades 4-5 will be developing a city through a project-based learning unit which they will showcase on the final day of camp! 🌆
June 18: 4th-5th Grade Field Trip to to LEGOLand Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis to our 4th and 5th graders. To be eligible, participants must complete both the registration form and the permission slip.
Paper field trip forms will be required and will be made available the first day of camp on June 15th at Quail Valley. Hard deadline for paper field trip forms will be June 15th at 4pm dismissal time* We will need volunteers to make this trip happen!

This host will be hosting "Have Fun in the Summer." Site facilitators will be staff from Freedom Crest, Chester Morrison, and Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary but all students are welcome to attend!
Get ready for Fun in the Sun! Our 9-day summer camp for TK–5th grade students is packed with sunshine, creativity, and nonstop adventure! Campers will explore hands-on arts and crafts, exciting STEAM challenges, visual and performing arts, high-energy sports, math games, and engaging literature-based activities that bring stories to life. We’ll cool off with a splash-tastic Water Day and top it all off with an unforgettable field trip to a theme park! Each day is designed to spark curiosity, build friendships, and create joyful summer memories in a safe and supportive environment. Spots will fill quickly; join us for a summer full of learning, laughter, and hot fun in the summertime!!

This host will be continuing to develop the concept of "Limitless Futures" in amazing ways this Summer!
Site facilitators will be staff from Harvest Hill, Oak Meadows, and Southshore Elementary but all students are welcome to attend!
Guided by our vision of “Engaging Young Minds for Limitless Futures,” this camp provides a fun and enriching environment where students can explore, imagine, and grow. 🌟
TK/K will build early literacy skills through interactive read-alouds, storytelling, and hands-on activities that bring learning to life. 📖
Grades 1–3 will strengthen reading skills through engaging literacy experiences, creative projects, and collaborative learning that builds confidence and fluency. ✏️
Grades 4–5 will deepen comprehension and critical thinking through meaningful reading activities, discussions, and real-world connections that inspire a love of learning. 🧠
Students will grow through reading, adventure, and hands-on experiences that promote teamwork, creativity, and confidence!

This host will be working on creating a Safari theme for thie learners!
Admin and staff from Taawila, Herk Boris, and Sally Buselt will be on site to support student learning experiences!
TK/K will engage in a variety of hands-on, safari-themed learning experiences led by our amazing Early Learning Facilitators. 🧩
Grades 1–3 will explore the wonders of wildlife through arts and crafts, interactive literacy activities, and exciting STEAM challenges inspired by animals and their habitats. 🦒

Q: What is the Beyond the Classroom Camp?
A: The Beyond the Classroom Camp is an opportunity for all eligible students to receive unique learning experiences on non-school days. The main focus will be on experiences students may not receive during the instructional school day, such as art, sports, science, and engineering.
Q: What is the format of the day?
A: There is an AM and PM session. Students may attend one or both sessions. Students will participate in a variety of activities each day. There will be different activities in the AM and PM session, so attending both sessions is encouraged!
Q: Does my child have to stay the entire day?
A: No. There are 2 options for attendance:
Students may attend only the AM session and be dropped off by 7:45 and picked up at 12:00.
Students may attend both sessions and be dropped off by 7:45 and picked up starting at 4:00.
Q: I have more than one student wishing to attend, do I need to submit an application for each child?
A: Yes, an application is needed for each student to ensure we reserve every student a space.

Q: I am having trouble enrolling, what do I do?
A: Please contact the Expanded Learning Administrator at your home school for help registering or for any additional information. A list of contact information can be found HERE.
Q: If I enroll, and I guaranteed a spot?
A: No, space is limited, please complete the registration form as soon as possible.
Q: Will my child be provided with meals?
A: Yes. Students are provided with breakfast and lunch each day.
Q: What is the cost of the program?
A: This program is free.
Q: Is my child required to attend every day?
A: While there is no attendance requirement, due to limited space, please ensure your child can attend at least 80% of the program. If not, please allow the space to be filled by another student. Please discuss any preplanned absences with the site administrator.
Q: My child's school is not on the list. Can I apply to a different school site?
A: Yes, you can choose any of the available Menifee Union school to send your child to for the summer program.

Q: How large will class sizes be?
A: For our TK and kinder students, there will be a student to staff ratio of 10:1. For 1st-6th grade, there will be a student to staff ratio of 20:1.
Q: Is my TK student eligible to attend?
A: Yes, if your student is enrolled in TK this year, they are eligible to attend.
