Mr. Matthew Meyer

Mr. Meyer is the current Agriculture Teacher/FFA Advisor at Mendota Township High School and has been since the fall of 2014. He is a 2004 Graduate of Sandwich Community High School; earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Joliet Junior College in 2006; and a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Education from Western Illinois University in 2008. Mr. Meyer student taught at Newark Community High School under Mr. Joe Steffen during the Spring 2008 semester. His teaching career began by restarting a dormant agricultural education program at Stockton High School in Stockton, IL; located in Jo Daviess County in Northwestern Illinois. The program had been absent since the early 1990's.

Mr. Meyer grew up around agriculture his whole even though it was not his immediate families primary source of income while he still lived at home.
