In both 2024 and 2025, with cold calling and tailored emails to raise funds, we delivered twelve £50 food vouchers to local schools to support struggling EAL families (English as an Additional Language).
Rooted in community collaboration, this comprehensive twelve-month project enhances educational and economic opportunities for non-native English speakers in Lambeth. The framework delivers structured language classes, career readiness workshops, and professional mentorship to over 50 participants. By partnering with local schools, employers, and archives, the project establishes a sustainable mentoring network designed to boost long-term social integration and local employment placement rates.
Developed by experienced Lambeth educators, this proposed project provides an enriched four-day educational excursion to Madrid for ten disadvantaged, minority, or migrant students. The initiative directly addresses the cultural and economic isolation experienced by youth exposed to localized street violence. Through guided historical tours, workshops, and mentor-led reflection, the travel framework builds personal independence, global perspective, and team communication skills outside their daily environment.
