Hour of Code

This week was computer science education week, which includes the hour of code initiative.

The hour of code is a global initiative to promote coding in schools around the world to inspire students to develop their interest in computer science. This year, the hour of code participants came from more than 180 countries, with 205,150 schools registered, including 2432 in Turkey.

Participating students complete tasks in algorithm writing and computer coding. The tasks are set at a range of difficulties to enable all students to find a task that will challenge them to improve their skills.

All of our Lower secondary students and upper secondary computer science students completed their hour of code this week.
