Education
With the guidance of our Teaching Advisory Committee and in collaboration with the scientific advisory committee, the Meeteetse Museums developed a series of lesson plans designed to complement our virtual exhibit, "The Bison Project." Lesson plans are aligned with the Wyoming Education Standards.
In addition to these lesson plans, the Museums has a bison education trunk which can be checked out from the Museums. The trunk can be shipped to any school in Wyoming and may be requested by emailing programs@meeteetsemuseums.org.

How the trunks work:
The education trunk can be checked out for periods of a week to two weeks by any school in Wyoming. The trunks will be sent free of charge and contain a return label. Teachers are responsible for taking inventory when they get the trunk and before sending it back. Teachers should also report any damage to trunk items as part of their final inventory. To receive a trunk, contact programs@meeteetsemuseums.org.
