MHS College & Career Handbook *NEW*
Scoir is the college and career planning platform used by Medway High School to help students research colleges, build their college lists, and manage the application process. Students also use Scoir to request teacher recommendations and send application-related information to colleges.
Common Application
The Common Application (Common App) is a college application platform that allows students to apply to multiple colleges and universities using one application. Students complete their personal information, activities, courses, and essay once, then submit the application to participating colleges.
Some colleges require students to complete STARS (Self-Reported Transcript and Academic Record System) as part of their application process. STARS allows students to self-report their high school coursework and academic information directly to participating colleges and universities.
College Navigator is a free consumer information tool designed to help students, parents, high school counselors, and others get information about over 7000 colleges/universities

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid -- often used as a tool as part of financing college
MEFA
MEFA helps students and families access and afford higher education and reach financial goals and helps to support the independence, growth, and success of students and families.
The CSS Profile, offered through College Board, is a financial aid application required by some colleges in addition to the FAFSA. It collects detailed information about a family’s financial circumstances and is used by participating colleges to determine eligibility for institutional financial aid.
