What a great start to the school year! 

We have started our first book check outs of 2nd Grade and are practicing our library routines. This year we have our own library cards that we're using to help check out books and keep track of how many books we've read. 

To help us get excited about book choices and to reinforce library expectations we're reading the wonderfully fun stories 'No Pirates Allowed!' and 'Ronan the Librarian'. We will also complete activities on book care and practice using the library lounge with calm bodies and ready to read minds.
