Greater Boston PFLAG
Greater Boston PFLAG provides a number of resources including a safe and confidential helpline with trained volunteers ready to listen, offer support, and provide resources; 1:1 parent support; general support groups that provide the opportunity to connect with other community members with LGBTQ+ people in their lives, including families whose children have come out to them, friends and significant others, or those who are interested in learning how to become a better ally to LGBTQ+ people; and special monthly support groups dedicated specifically for parents and caregivers of transgender, gender nonconforming, and gender questioning people.

OUT MetroWest
OUT MetroWest currently runs more than a dozen youth meetings per month out of locations in Framingham, Newton, and Wellesley. Specific programs for LGBTQ+ middle school youth and their allies, transgender and gender nonconforming high school youth, and LGBTQ+ and allied high school youth.

LGBT Helpline: 1-888-340-4528 or 1-617-267-9001, available Mon-Sat, 6:00pm-11:00pm. Anonymous and confidential phone lines that offer LGBTQ+ adults and youth a “safe place” to call for any kind of LGBTQ+ information, i.e. safe sex, coming out, depression, HIV/Aids, referrals, and support.
Peer Listening Youth Line: 1-800-399-PEER (7337) or 617-267-2535, available Mon-Sat, 5:00pm-10:00pm. For LGBTQ+ youth under 25 years of age, Fenway Health volunteers who identify as LGBTQ+ and are between 16-25 years of age are trained to offer support and active listening for LGBTQ+ peers.

An expansive source for LGBTQ+ information and referrals, it provides a range of free and confidential helplines for LGBTQ+ people of all ages, with dedicated lines for youth, peer-to-peer support and resources.
LGBTQ Teens Online Talk Group A GLBT Help Center program for gay/lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and gender variant youth, ages 12-19. Every Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 7-10pm, this weekly moderated group is an opportunity for youth to talk safely and comfortably about LGBTQ+ concerns, issues and personal triumphs.
Trans Teens Online Talk Group This is a weekly moderated group for trans and gender expansive youth 19 years old and younger to discuss concerns, issues and personal victories in a safe place.

This is a grassroot hotline offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. It is run by the trans community for the trans community.
Gender Spectrum Lounge
Gender Spectrum offers a variety of national, free online support groups in monthly meetings for preteens and teens (even separate groups for parents/caregivers and grandparents). The meetings provide an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences and feel the comfort of a supportive community.
