Monday, June 20 @12pm EST / 9am PST
There has been a great deal of discussion of bias in decision making in our society, and its negative impact. Noise: A Flaw In Human Judgment, by Daniel Kahneman, Olivier Sibony, and Cass R. Sunstein explores the equally important aspect of noise — the influence of irrelevant factors — in decision making at all levels. In addition to identifying sources of noise, they describe a variety of ways to reduce its pernicious influence.
Join us to explore the introduction, chapter 1, and any other chapter(s) of your choosing as our hosts Jeff Perrone and Michael Stöpel lead our discussion.
