Christmas Party

In the early years, the Christmas party took form in a variety show and parties held in each classroom.

This was quickly replaced by a wildly popular inter-class dancing competition as well as a fiercely competitive classroom decoration contest. Today, these competitions still form the backbone of the school's Christmas celebration.

The staple of the party is the barn dance. The entire school, both students and teachers - over a thousand people, gather playground and place their hands on the shoulders of each other, forming a long queue. In music and laughter, the proverbial dragon head then leads the long queue or the "tail" in a whirling and curling dance of controlled mayhem.
