Former Principal's Message

Our school was founded in 1973 and we are now in the 42^nd year. Forty-two years may not be long but it is definitely not a short period. Many memorable events have taken place in these forty-two years. It would be a pity if we just let them slip away. Hence, when the History Panel Head, Miss Leong Yuk Ping, told me that she would like to recruit a group of students to record the history of our school, I eagerly gave my support. This is the birth of ‘Hoi Ping Memories’!

The history of Hoi Ping was created by all members of the school – school managers, teachers, students, parents and alumni. Each and every one of us has contributed to the school history. Thanks to the advancement of technology! The collection and preservation of our precious history have been made much more convenient. When student reporters interviewed the managers and former principals, they simply used their mobile phones for recordings and photo taking. Besides, though the writer of our school song was in Canada, our students could use Skype to interview him! The invaluable information collected was then turned into digital formats for view at the website. How wonderful! No matter where we are, we can all contribute and stay connected!

We would periodically update the website to preserve all the precious moments. Through ‘Hoi Ping Memories’, I hope we could bring all members of Hoi Ping together and share our pride and successes with the public!

Here I would like to thank all the people who have contributed to ‘Hoi Ping Memories’. Our precious memories could be kept because of you!
