Classroom Expectations:
These five expectations help us create a learning environment that is respectful, responsible, safe, and fun. By following them, we can all enjoy an awesome year of learning and growing together both in the classroom and throughout the school.
In 3rd grade we will have a daily snack break in our classroom. Please send your child with a healthy snack each day to help keep them energized and focused for learning.
***Please avoid snacks high in sugar such as candy, soda, or chips. We want to encourage healthy eating habits and keep our minds ready to learn!
Here are some ideas:
Fresh fruit
Fresh vegetables
Cheese sticks or cheese cubes
Yogurt or yogurt tubes (low sugar)
Applesauce or fruit cups (in natural juice)
Crackers or pretzels
Rice cakes or mini rice cakes
Granola bars (low sugar)
Popcorn
We love celebrating birthdays in our classroom! If you would like to send a treat for your child to share with the class on their birthday, you are welcome to do so. To follow school safety policies, we ask that all food items be store-bought.
