My name is Emily Van Regenmorter, otherwise known as Miss. V, and I am an art educator and craftswoman located in Southern Maine. I happily reside close (enough) to the sea with my partner, Julian, and our cat, Cleo. 

I received a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2021. My primary major was Social Thought and Political Economy, my secondary major was Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and I minored in Art History. If the walls of my college dorm could talk, they would speak of the women of modern art movements, specifically Dada, (aka my personal Roman Empire). 

I have always dreamt of being an art teacher, and I am about to complete my Master of Arts in Teaching degree at the Maine College of Art and Design. I hope to stay in Maine and continue to teach in a public school. Additionally, I teach community classes in and around Portland.
