Kindergarten's first day is Monday, September 12!
Welcome Baker Family! Your PTA is hopeful and preparing for the return of volunteers in the school, in-person events for students and families, in-person assembly, and so much more! We have ideas and we will need volunteers! We're always looking for volunteers to keep the PTA alive as board members usually move on once their bobcats leave the school.
We need your commitment to our bobcats, your creativity, your ideas... all of it! As we prepare for the new school year, we are looking for people to join us and help make it a memorable and educational year for our students.
Members are not required to attend meetings or volunteer for events - though both are welcome! Do what you can, when you can, and don't worry about what and when you can't. We're appreciative of your support and do not ask for more than you can give.
Join us! Complete a CORI and help for any amount of time to have a fun, successful year for our kids! We cannot do this without volunteers! No amount of time is too small and is always appreciated!

We are a Box Tops school, so please scan/clip box tops. The PTA will collect physical box tops at the front office to submit in November and March.
· One fully funded field trip for each grade
· Special grade events for students
· Baker grad shirts to graduating 5th graders
· School-wide assembly each year
· Fun family events
· Pencils/stickers for PAW rewards to the front office
· Supplies to school nurse
· Supports teachers / staff who have projects on donors choose or other
· Cover shortages so students are not left behind due to money
· Works with guidance to collect items for families in need (clothing, food, etc.)
· Scholastic Book Fairs - proceeds used to fund our library & school
· School store for students a few times a year (unless there are conflicts or lack of helpers)
· Scholarship for graduating seniors
We keep fundraising to a minimum. You won’t receive catalogs from us selling candles or other items. We will do two big fundraisers in October and May. We ask for your patience in advance as you’ll be hearing ALL about these for 2-3 weeks. We are going to move away from using vendors and will do these ourselves - so volunteers will be needed and welcome!
