The Meadville R-IV School District has worked through a collaborative process to implement an Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) plan to be utilized on days school is closed due to inclement weather, illness, exceptional emergency circumstances, or other natural disasters. It will be the district’s discretion on whether the school is considered “closed” or if an “AMI” day needs to be implemented. The AMI plan will enable learning to continue despite uncontrollable circumstances while keeping the school calendar from extending into June.
The link above will give you more detailed information of how our AMI days will be conducted.
