MDUSD offers one of the most challenging and rewarding School Social Work internships in the Bay Area. Beyond excellent fieldwork placement and supervision, interns are offered a comprehensive training program for working with students and families from diverse backgrounds. MDUSD Social Work interns become district employees and receive a stipend while working to promote the social, emotional, and behavioral wellness of children and adolescents.
MDUSD partners with the School of Social Work at CSU-East Bay, UC Berkeley (Social Welfare), San Francisco State University, and San Jose State University
