Homework

Homework will consist of reading the Wonder's Fast and Fluent fluency reading & sight words in the Sight Word Book. and 1 daily page of the Spiral Review Book. Children will practice reading their weekly readers and memorizing their weekly sight words daily. At the end of the week they will be tested during Friday Fluency. 20 minutes of reading practice is expected each night.  Special projects will be assigned throughout the year and will be sent with the weekly Homework. Please establish a homework routine with you child by providing a quiet spot with the materials they need. HW folders will be kept at home and used to organize the weekly reading and sight words. Only the Spiral Review Books will be turned in on Fridays and returned with the Monday Envelope on Mondays.
