SYMPHONIC BAND

PURPOSE:

" To continue development of proficiency on a band instrument at an advanced (eighth grade) level

" To study concert band literature of appropriate difficulty

" To continue study of fundamentals of music

ACTIVITIES:

" Winter and spring concerts, assemblies

" combined concert with Northgate High School Band

" CMEA Band Festival and CMEA Solo/Ensemble Festival
